Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA
- ECS has provided nearly continuous services to the Hutch for ongoing office and lab build-outs including past work as on-staff Facilities Director, and as a senior MEP designer and Engineer-of-Record while on-staff at AEI.
- Provided design, construction and commissioning services for two ISO 7 and 8 cleanrooms for cGMP biologics production facilities.

Bend Research Inc. (BRI), Bend, OR
- While at Lewis, Steve provided design coordination, cost control, construction QC and commissioning/qualification services for BRI's new solid dose manufacturing facility BRBPD-1. Project specifics are confidential.
- ECS provided design peer review, construction QC and Commissioning Agent services for BRI's second solid dose manufacturing facility at their Tumalo site in Oregon. Project specifics are confidential.
Seattle Children's Research Institute, Seattle, WA
- Renovation of a 2,500 SF cGMP manufacturing suites and associated QC lab 2nd offices at 1100 Olive. Project included ISO 7 (Class 10,000) and ISO 8 (Class 100,000) cleanrooms and associated support spaces.
Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) Corporate Relocation to 1616 Eastlake, Seattle, WA
- ECS provided Owners Representation, Engineering Support and Commissioning Agent services for IDRI's 55,000 SF tenant improvement at 1616 Eastlake. Project included NIH certified BSL/ABSL-3 labs, small animal vivarium, cGMP clinical manufacturing, BSL1-BSL2 wet labs, chemistry labs, fermentation suite and robotics lab.

ZymoGenetics/Bristol-Myers Squibb TI Projects at LUSP, Seattle, WA
- While at Lewis, Steve served as Project Manager and Construction Manager for over 6,000 SF of tenant improvements within the Lake Union Steam Plant (LUSP) including QC labs and vivarium. Steve's services included programming, concept design, cost control, construction, start-up/operation/commissioning and close-out.
Amazon Corporate Relocation to SLU Seattle, WA
- A 365,000 square foot shell core and tenant improvement project including mission critical data center. Steve's services covered pre-construction (cost control, document review, etc.), construction and commissioning services.
- As part of the commissioning services, Steve coordinated the Operations & Maintenance Training Program including complete video recording and editing services.
