ECS has worked with several clients to build very high tech cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) facilities. Some examples:
Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) Corporate Relocation to 1616 Eastlake, Seattle, WA
- ECS provided Owners Representation, Engineering Support and Commissioning Agent services for IDRI's 55,000 SF tenant improvement at 1616 Eastlake. Project included NIH certified BSL/ABSL-3 labs, small animal vivarium, cGMP clinical manufacturing, BSL1-BSL2 wet labs, chemistry labs, fermentation suite and robotics lab.

ZymoGenetics/Bristol-Myers Squibb Microbial Manufacturing Facility, Bothell, WA
- ECS is currently providing Owner's Representation and Engineering Support services for ZymoGenetics/BMS's new Microbial Manufacturing Facility in Bothell, WA. This project will be complete in Q3 2014 as a fully licensed cGMP pharmaceutical production facility. Specific project information is highly confidential.

ZymoGenetics/Bristol-Myers Squibb TI Projects at LUSP, Seattle, WA
- While at Lewis, Steve served as Project Manager and Construction Manager for over 6,000 SF of tenant improvements within the Lake Union Steam Plant (LUSP) including QC labs and vivarium. Steve's services included programming, concept design, cost control, construction, start-up/operation/commissioning and close-out.
QLT Vancouver, BC, Canada
- Project services included design support, construction and commissioning/qualification/validation for a 3,500 square foot cGMP ISO 6 and 7 pharmaceutical pilot plant inside an existing occupied research facility. Project utilized state-of-the-art micro-isolator technology.
- Specifically, Steve served as QLT's Validation Engineer, coordinating the Cx and qualification activities for this FDA-approved commercial manufacturing facility.
Bio-Rad Laboratories, Redmond, WA
- 46,000 square feet of cGMP warehouse and 25,000 square feet with cGMP manufacturing including ISO 7 and 8 cleanrooms. Project specifics are confidential.
Seattle Children's Research Institute, Seattle, WA
- Renovation of a 2,500 SF cGMP manufacturing suites and associated QC lab 2nd offices at 1100 Olive. Project included ISO 7 (Class 10,000) and ISO 8 (Class 100,000) cleanrooms and associated support spaces.
